Why we opened Kape Maria

We wanted Lagonoy to have a place where you could just… exhale. Somewhere with homemade food, honest coffee, and no reason to rush off. A corner with books, art supplies, games, and a piano — there for anyone who needs a little time to themselves.

That's still what keeps us going. We're a homegrown Bicolano coffee house, here for the town we grew up in. Everything's made by hand, with care, by people who'd rather know you as a neighbor than a customer. And when you come back, we notice — it means more than you know.
